Kanekoa Farms in Waimanalo has provided us with produce that would have otherwise returned to the earth to be reborn into soap!

Boiled basil water made from basil harvested from Kanekoa farms was used to make this batch of soap. The green/brown color was also from carefully dehydrated and blended basil powder. Although freshly dehydrated and powdered basil has a strong basil scent, it didn’t translate well into the soap.

Mint to the rescue! Peppermint essential oil gives the soap a little fresh scent.

Ingredients: Saponified oils of Olive and Coconut Oil, Mint Essential Oil, Basil Powder, French Green Clay and Lemon Powder
