Okinawa Soba is different from the grey buckwheat noodles that first come to mind. In Okinawa, we simply refer to it as "soba" and it is a regional dish that looks more like udon (flour) noodles but is made with wheat flour.
The yellow pieces represent kamaboko (fish cake), the brown gradient is sanmai niku (meat), green is green onions, and the red piece represents pickled red ginger.
